Blue Screen Trap

Hi there,

I recently got the following error on one of our Proliant ML350 G5 servers:

Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000000A (0x00000004, 0xD0000002, 0x00000001, 0x8084D180)).

By looking through the windows events logs it simply shutdown without any warning. The only event that may be associated is a thermal anomaly which was recorded a few minutes after the shutdown/restart. Checks have also been carried out on the front panel and there are no red or amber lights. The server has been fine now for well over a week, but I would like to find out what this is exactly.

If anyone has had an experience of this I would be very grateful for your input.

John

Re: Blue Screen Trap

My first guess would be some type of hardware issue.

Make sure all your firmware is up to date.  Firmware CD version 8.6 is the latest out right now.
